Valley Farm Cattery is a new, small cattery opened in 2021. 

We are situated between Langport and Ilminster; set in a rural, peaceful garden away from road noise.

About Us

Run by a dedicated cat owner and cat lover who has always had cats in her life, our small cattery gives us plenty of time to provide your cat with all the attention it needs during its stay.

The Valley Farm Cattery accommodation has been manufactured and supplied by Pedigree Pens. It is built using PVCu as its main material providing superior hygiene qualities and weather resistance both in winter and summer. All sleeping quarters are fully enclosed, insulated and heated with thermostatically controlled heaters. Sheltered exercise runs are accessed through a cat flap providing fresh air and a view into the garden.

Cats staying with us will be fed twice a day, once in the morning and again in the evening. We provide a range of food both wet and dry. Prescription diets need to be provided by the owner.

We provide comfortable beds with fleecy blankets, scratching posts on request, toys, fresh water, litter trays and plenty of attention and company. Litter trays, bowls, bedding and toys are thoroughly disinfected in between each cat, so your cat is always in a clean, safe environment. We will discuss with you about your cat(s) temperament and how much interaction they like and whether you would like us to groom your cat during their stay.

Our Cattery

Valley Farm Cattery has six pens which can accommodate up to two cats from the same household. Two of our pens are larger family size and can house up to 4 cats from the same household. Family pens can be booked for a single or two cats from the same household at a slightly higher rate.

  • Our pens at Valley Farm Cattery are made of PVCu as its main material offering superior hygiene, durability, weather resistance and ease of cleaning.
  • All sleeping areas are insulated and heated and have a raised sleeping area to allow the cats to have their bed off the floor away from draughts.
  • The roof on the cattery is solid and insulated making the accommodation sun safe and warm in the winter.
  • All the pens look out into our garden which gives the cats a pleasant outlook.
  • Each pen has its own exercise area which is accessed from the sleeping quarters via a cat flap
  • To provide entertainment we will provide toys, scratching posts, igloos and lots of attention.

Payment is by cash or cheque. We do not have facilities to accept card payments.
Full payment is required on collection of your cat(s). Refunds will not be given for early returns.

Cancellation
We require 14 days’ notice if you wish to cancel your booking. If you do not inform us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of your cat boarding you will be charged in full.
If we can fill the accommodation on any of the days, you will be refunded.

Monday – Saturday 9.30 am – 11.00 am & 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm Sunday Closed

The Cattery is closed for arrivals, collections and visits on Bank Holidays. We are closed from 24th December – 2nd January.
Arrivals, collections and visits must be in these opening times. At time of booking we request that you provide us with arrival and departure times.
Your cat’s accommodation will be ready for boarding from 9.30 – 11.00 am and 5.00 – 6.00 pm.  We charge for the day in and the day out.
